As a Wealth Advisor at Streamlined Wealth Planning, I work closely with clients to help bring clarity, organization, and confidence to their financial lives. I especially enjoy guiding clients as we align their goals, investments, and long-term plans.
Before joining Streamlined Wealth Planning, I worked alongside another LPL affiliated Advisor based in Missouri. Over the course of 14 years, I worked as an assistant and later as a Wealth Manager for clients in Colorado, Missouri, Wyoming, and Indiana. Earlier in my career, I gained valuable experience in accounting and quality assurance, building a strong foundation in detail-oriented analysis and process-driven work that continues to benefit my clients today.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Finance, from the University of Northern Colorado (Go Bears!) and completed the University of Georgia Certified Financial Planner™ Certification Education Program in 2009. My passion for finance began early, shaped by growing up in South Dakota where conversations about earning, managing, and growing money were part of everyday life. Surrounded by family members involved in farming and agriculture, I observed firsthand how financial decisions from equipment purchases to land sales and crop timing could impact livelihoods for so many. That early exposure sparked a lifelong interest in investing and financial planning, leading me to open my first investment accounts at age 18 and ultimately pursuing a career in financial advising.
What motivates me most is guiding clients through the big step of sitting down to “get their ducks in a row.” I particularly enjoy managing retirement accounts and ensuring IRAs are invested thoughtfully and efficiently, something I love almost as much as coffee! I truly value the opportunity to listen to each client’s unique life story and understand that no two financial journeys are the same.
Away from work, I am a South Dakota native that enjoys living in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado. I love that Fort Collins still feels like a small town but is big enough to have all the amenities and opportunities our family wants. My husband and I have two high schoolers, and we share our home with the true star of the family, our golden doodle named Gary. Our family loves Colorado, you can find us hiking in the summer, following the high school marching band in the fall, and skiing in the winter. I am also actively involved in my community, serving on a meal train committee that provides homemade meals to those in need and supporting the high school marching band as a member of its Food Crew.
